I am so very sorry to hear of Jan's passing. She was a joyful person who I was fortunate to have connected with through NCIDQ volunteer efforts. She had a generous spirit and was a gifted designer. Deepest condolences to Fred and her brothers.

When I moved to Kensington I new very few people and Jan reached out to me in such a friendly manner, it made a huge difference. She was an incredibly sweet person and I miss her.

I remember Jan with such fondness. She helped me with my interior design in my home after I met her through LEAD San Diego. She was such a joy. A talented, wonderful woman. I am so sorry for your loss, Fred. Yvonne Murchison Finocchiaro, former CEO LEAD San Diego, Inc.

Meeting Jan for the first time (40 years ago?) was an instant connection to laughter, talent, wisdom, and soul. What a wonderful woman! Fred, I feel your loss, as we all do. See you in October for an afternoon of great memories and respect.

Condolences Fred. Jan was such a joy to be around. We always looked forward to seeing you both whenever we were in San Diego. Good friends, good food and great conversations. There will be a little less sparkle in the world now. Our hearts go out to you. We will be stuck in Iowa for the October memorial, but our thoughts will be with you and we will see you some day next year in San Diego.
