I was so glad to see her several times in Kalamazoo remembering our high school days. God rest her in peace.

Jan, Martha, Jodi and John all hold special places in my heart. I spent many hours babysitting (for 25 cents an hour!) when the kids were little. Jan was a beautiful soul, her passion for music and laughter will live on in the hearts of those who loved her. With many fond memories....

I have many pleasant memories of Janet Berghorst when she directed Kalamazoo Community Chorale from `1969 to 2008. Since I did not read music due to my visual disability, she accommodated me by allowing me to tape record the rehearsals. She was encouraging and compassionate. We will miss her very much.
