Not sure what to say?

I absolutely loved Janet. I spent 7 years at St. Mary's working with her on the gero unit. She made our shifts fun! I'll never forget her saying "it's like herding cats" in reference to working with this interesting and entertaining group of people. My best shifts were when we worked together! I can still picture her sitting at the computer charting on patients when Billy would casually meander in, pull up a chair and ask how the patients were doing. I knew immediately he was smitten with...

I went on Facebook to wish her a happy birthday and was so sad to see her obituary. Janet and I were college friends at Gustavus. Our friendship continued well into adulthood, with parties, and get togethers. She was godmother to both of my children: Harry and Leslie. Miss you dear Boycie!!

Janet and I were the best of friends through our grade school years at Lincoln School in Madison Wisconsin. We both were aspiring writers and hoped to be published authors when we grew up. I often was invited to spend Friday nights at her house and we always had fun. I was so happy when I was able to to connect with her years later on facebook and I miss playing word search with her online even though she usually won. I wish you peace and joy in the afterlife Janet. I hope we meet again...

My dearest condolences and love to Janet´s family. Janet meant a lot to my father, William Wingo, and she was there with him in his last moments. Janet, you cared for me and were a wonderful friend and it brought me so much joy to see you and my father share life together for the time you had. He loved your spirit and love for traveling, and you meant so much to me and my family. Janet, may you rest in peace with my dad- your Billy- by your side. With all my love to you.

I am greatly saddened to hear that Janet has passed. I worked with her at St.Marys and she was a wonderful coworker. We stayed connected by Facebook (Meta, now). I know Billy Wingo was waiting for her. Rest in heavenly peace, Janet and may your Packers have a winning season! Deepest condolences to her family.

Please know just how many of us at St Marys 7West valued working with Janet. Her valuable skills in Med-Surg and Gerontology made her such an asset to our unit . She was the "go to " person on evening shift !! I loved her cheese necklace . She wore proudly to represent her home state of Wisconsin . She rocked that amazing shag hair style. Her zest for life obvious to us all , a wonderer and forever learner . Your shift may be over here. You touched us all and left use a little ...

Janet was my neighbor and a dear friend. We both enjoyed playing mahjong. I admired her strength and courage as she dealt with her illness. My deepest sympathy to her family.

I had honor of being her dental hygienist for many years and it was my privilege to have know her.
