I will always be grateful to Janet for the kindness she showed my mother when she was ill with Alzheimer's. She and Marilyn Burgess would come visit at our house, or take my mom out for a ride. I know my father appreciated this, too, as it gave him a bit of a break. Rest in peace, Mrs. Burgess.

I met Janet and Warren a few years ago when I worked at the Ledyard Senior Center. I fell in love with them both and loved to hear about their adventures and marriage and history. Their gardens were amazing but their love for each other and their children was so beautiful.
When my mom entered Fairview and I got to see Janet again it was a special time and we would chit chat with each other and she would look after our mom with day to day conversations.
