Mr. & Mrs. Langston, We send you our heartfelt sympathy. May God help you through this very difficult time.

It broke my heart to hear this evening of Janet's passing. Janet and I became best of friends in the first grade and remained friends through high school. She and I both loved horses so when she came to my house for a visit we would always ride for most of the day. I have many special memories of our friendship. She will be missed.

I was very saddened to learn of Janet's passing. I have such good memories of our times together in school. She had such beautiful green eyes and blond hair, and I think I was jealous.I remember her helping me get ready for senior portraits, and just her sweetness in general. Coach, I am praying that God will give you and your family strength during this time. Even though we haven't been in touch in many years I feel the loss of such a wonderful person. God bless you all.

My heart is heavy at losing a close childhood friend. Janet was one of the first students that welcomed me to Corner High School in 1970, when we were only freshmen...she warned me about her dad..Coach Langston..she said "don't make him mad and do what he says", well needless to say, she and I talked and talked during study hall one day and sure enough, he got us both with his paddle, she was not fibbing to me. We remained close for a couple of years after graduation in '74, but then lost...
