Not sure what to say?

Canning family, I was so very sorry to hear the news about Janet. I haven't seen her in many years, but I always had the greatest respect for her. She was a beautiful person both inside and out. I am so sorry for your loss, and I'll keep you and your family in my prayers.

Janet was a classmate, Class of ’70 at Kenmore. Always smartly funny and poised no matter what. And kind to all.

She will be missed by so many. My condolences to her family and loved ones who are grieving.

I am sending my love and prayers to family and friends of Janet Canning. I taught with Janet at Washington Junior High School in Naperville, IL. Janet was a brilliant and caring teacher who helped me adjust to a curriculum change. Janet loved and spoke of her family often. She will be missed, but not forgotten.

I was going to return those letters to her this August but now will try to provide them to her sister. My children remember visiting her in Chicago when we were passing through on a family vacation and remember her sense of humor and her kindness. I was very...

Janet was interesting, funny, kind and faith filled. I enjoyed our many conversations while I was in her home (and the nursing home) caring for Betty. Fly high Janet, free of your earthly constraints. It was a pleasure knowing you and your family. Say hello to your Mom for me.
