To the Charette family-I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your Mom. I have such fond memories of her from 'back in the day'when she would welcome us young and crazy musicians into her house with open arms.She always gave us a place to stay/sleep if needed. It was always about the family-that is a great quality to have and to pass on to your children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.My thoughts and prayers go out to your family.

I thank my lucky stars that the Love and Joy and Memories far surpass the sorrow I feel for the loss of such a beautiful person. I can see her and Bernie Sr. sitting in their dual recliner's listening to Patsy Cline. Thanks for letting me be apart of all you are.

I'm so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. I just loved her spunk! She was one sweet lady! My thoughts are with all of you!

My deepest sympathies, thoughts and prayers to the Charette and Dexter families. Janet was an amazing woman with the most generous and loving heart. I am blessed to have spent most of my childhood and teen years with her and her family, and having her guidance through early adulthood. The fun memories of her singing, laughing and always having kind and uplifting words for me are priceless. Jan was a Mom to all of those around her, and gave me my special name, "Babs" and I will always be...
