Janet Abbenhouse Cory

I've known Janet since the 60's when Jan, Don and I were all in High School, I was at Queen Anne and she was at West Seattle and we were all in a youth group at Seattle's First Methodist Church. She always had an infectious smile that brightened up a room and from other's comments it seems to have continued for 40+ years. I am deeply saddened to learn that Jan left the party so early in life. I enjoyed getting to know her as a fellow diplomat at the Seattle Chamber of Commerce and enjoyed lunch with her while she was working at UW Radiology. This comes as a huge shock. I will surely miss her pizzaz and great flair for life.

Jan was an extraordinary woman! She will truly be missed by many, but our memories will remain forever. I am blessed to have had her touch my life, and I am forever grateful for the happiness she brought to my dearest Don. Love, Fae
