P.S. I am watching an old Sophia Loren movie. Your daughter Alethea grew up to be as beautiful as Sophia Loren.

My Dearest Janet,
Friends for so many years, I've always loved you. I'm sorry that we didn't get to say good-bye on earth. I will do the best I can to carry on the memory of your beauty. Peace and love. I know that if there is a God you are certainly with God. You will remain in my heart until the day we meet again and you can do my hair. Love,
Susie

I was a year ahead of Janet in high school in Grafton. It was evident even then that she was an extraordinary person who could raise the spirits of the most desolate soul. I am sorry that she could not stay longer on earth to spread her zest for life. My sympathies to her family and all the others who loved her.

I loved watching you (The Master) of hairpieces and wigs. You would comb..then you would stop and think..your ideas flowing..then you would start..and a...

Janet was a very special person. Whenever I saw her, she was very kind to me and my family. She always considered others first. I sent this little essay to Janet in a special card about a month ago:
Cancer is limited. It cannot cripple love. It cannot shatter hope. It cannot corrode faith. It cannot eat away peace. It cannot destroy confidence. It cannot kill friendship. It cannot shut out memories. It cannot silence courage. It cannot invade the soul. It cannot reduce eternal...
