Not sure what to say?

Desmond Family: I volunteered at Heartbeat in the office at the Hillcrest Hotell downtown for probably 10 years. She was always an enthusiastic caring mom who was a good listener to the women and girls who were worried about being pregnant. She had a very caring heart and I always marveled at her energy for Heartbeat besides having her family and working as a nurse at St. V's on ortho. I worked with Beth, her daughter-in-law on the vascular unit at St. V's, so we never were a loss for...

Dan & Beth, so sorry for the loss of your mom and mother in law. Keeping your family in my prayers.

So very sorry to hear about the loss of your dear mother Janet. She had been a jazz/ragtime follower for many years and we last saw her at Sodbuster's for a memorial for another avid follower just last month. She was amazing and always engaged -- wanting to know about our family and how everyone was doing. I shared a room with her in New Orleans about 10 years ago. We attended a jazz there and a number of us from Toledo went to support Duke Heitger (from Toledo) who was hosting the festival....

To the Desmond's To love is to remember. Hoping you'll find some comfort in the warm memories your heart will always hold on to.

We will miss Janet's smile at Lourdes University where she was a wonderful part of our Lifelong Learning community. I will miss her.

What an admired mother , nurse, friend
I worked with Janet and I ( along with many peers) can honestly say she was such a warm caring person. Her Pts were well cared for physically, emotionally with every need met -and then some!!! Rest in peace my friend. It’s been an honor to have been part of your past. Memory Eternal ☦
