Julie and Nancy, My deepest sympathies, God Bless!

Mr. Eagan, I was a student at GCHS, class of 71. I am so sorry for your loss. You two had a long life together filled with beautiful memories. I hope those memories help you on the tough days. You were always a bright light during high school years. Wishing you many blessings, Monica Schaid Fierce

I had the wonderful good fortune to marry Janet's sister Sue in 1960. That means that I had the joy of being Ed and Janet's brother-in- law for 64 years of their 66 year marriage. We always had the happiest of times when our families got together either in Pennsylvania or Virginia. The 5 cousins had the best of fun making up radio scripts and then performing them for us. Janet and Sue were true soul sisters through the years. Janet always had a laugh and a smile and a positive word. Janet was...

Aunt Janet was dear to me my whole life. I will always cherish my memories of family trips to Pittsburgh. She was my late mother´s sister but also her true friend. She adored my other Aunt Nancy. The Thayer girls are gone now but I can imagine all three of them laughing together as they were here with granddaddy Herbie. Her passing is a very sad loss. Picture provided by my dad. My heartfelt condolences to Uncle Ed, Nancy Sue, Julia and her whole family. Love Mary Susan

Mr. Egan, Please accept my deepest sympathy. Mrs. Egan was a good teacher, gentle and pleasant individual. Her memory will remain in my daily prayers. May she rest peace and may the good Lord bless you and your family. Most Sincerely, Dan Clougherty '71 GCCHS

Sending my sincere sympathy and condolence to Ed and family. We had many chats during inservice days at Norwin and our more enjoyable garden club meetings.

Dear Ed, I was so saddened to hear of Janet's passing. Rob let us know through an email today or I would have missed it. She was your right hand and strength, and I wanted you to know that I will have a Mass said for her at the University next week I hope your daughters will be there to support you through this. I know how much you loved them all. Janet was a sweet, loving wife and mother, and I shall always remember her with fondness.

I always enjoyed socializing with Janet at garden club. Blessings and condolences to all.
