Jan and I go back a long way, Lakewood High School, Kappa Kappa Gamma and years of memories. It is so difficult when a beloved family member leaves us. But just think. Life on earth is one part of her travels. There is more to come, and God is with Jan every step of he way...... Shirley Breisch

My mother Mary Morgan admired her so. I recall mom calling our attention to Jan's smooth swim stroke as she swam laps during rest periods at the CYC pool. My mom was grateful to have worked around Jan at the Lakewood Little Theater too. I remember her as a woman of style, a glowing tan and always a smile. But perhaps more importantly, like my mom, she was a doer. I cannot help thinking there is was little theater production in heaven welcoming her direction. Of course she will be missed but...

My family and I owe so much to Mrs. Egert. She has been a dear friend and mentor to my mother and a role model to us all. Her passion in creating the ethical purpose of Lakewood Little Theater is why many of us gained stronger senses of self and made a lifetime of close friends.
