A beautiful elopement story! I enjoyed meeting your family.

Jan and Jerry always treated me like family though I was only their hair-dresser over a period of many, many years. They invited me to their home for dinner and to their houseboat for drinks, dinner, and friendly socializing. Jan remembered my birthday every year. They were always the earlybirds in my shop -- between 6:30 and 7:00 if not sometimes earlier. Through the years they became part of my family. Jan and Jerry both have always been the warmest and most gracious of friends.

Thinking of Janet and her family from long, long ago brings me joy. May God's loving spirit bring you all comfort in these days.
