I was heartbroken to hear of Janet's passing. We were her neighbor for 7 years when she resided at Brookfield apartments. She would take my daughter Jami for ice cream on the last day of school every year we lived there. Janet was a bonus grandma to my daughter. Five out of seven days Jami would always take dinner down to her and the two of them ate and play cards. She was a true blessing to our family.

Mrs. Frank was always one of our favorite neighbors. She always had time to talk to us as children. Although her demeanor was straight forward and no nonsense, her heart was golden. She was the first and for a long time the only woman that we saw, who was a business owner. I know it made an impression on me and likely a bigger one on my sisters. We send our heartfelt condolences to Chriss and to Steve, as well as the rest of the family. God Bless you all and relish in a life well lived...

Dear Chris, John, Jay and Nikki,
I was sorry to read about your Mom’s death. She certainly had a full life - at times almost overloaded, I’ll bet. She did have the opportunity as a grandmother and great gramma to recover from being a parent and enjoy the rest of her life.
Being a grandma and great grandma is the reward God gives us for surviving parenthood.
Take joy in the fact that she left the world better off for having been here.
