Janet Sylvia Freimuth

Oh dear, I am so sad to hear of Jan's passing. The Otten family send our sympathies to you all. John, Erika and Gretchen, so many of my happy memories from childhood have Jan in them. Our times at the cottage and at your house were always such fun. Jan made all the gatherings a celebration, not only with the wonderful food and desserts, but just her spirit. Memories of 2970 N.Lake Shore Drive in Chicago when newly weds John and Janet were our neighbours and special friends. Janet was a fantastic cook and her Russian recipes were never to be forgotten - and always went so well with John's Black Russians and Maitais - what a lovely person Janet was and as we can see from Erika and Gretchen, her special gifts have been passed on to the next generation. May you rest in peace Janet :)

My daughter Carly Buis lives in Knoxville, TN currently. She was unable to come back here for the wake or funeral, but she passes her prayers & sympathy to the entire Freimuth family.
