I loved growing up with Jan, one of my best friends for years. Her mom, Cleo was our Brownie and Girl Scout leader, to whom I owe so much. She got us all interested in the outdoors, camping and helped me hugely learn to swim. Jan and I went to Camp LenMary together and loved it . She and I went to Woodward where we were both very active...Jan in Big Sisters, writing for the newspaper, always so thoughtful and intentional, bright, and capable. She would have loved to have been in a sorority...

So sorry to hear of your loss. I had the great pleasure of caring for Jan and George before he passed and was very fond of them. Jan was such a light every where she went and had such wonderful stories to share. She will be missed dearly.
