Not sure what to say?

I am truly sorry for your loss of Janet. She was a wonderful, kind friend. We journeyed through our school years together, keeping in touch with luncheons and reunions for the class 1959. She was a special lady.

I am saddened to hear this. I hope that the entire Gougeon family finds their peace quickly. She was a very kind lady that played a large part in my childhood.

This is a little late but the loss of a friend is still felt. Jan and I met in band in 1955-56 and became "Sisters" that same year. Jan always had a smile and a positive view of life. Miles separated us over the years but our friendship survived the distance. Condolences to her family and may the memories help to ease the their loss

I feel blessed to have known Janet my entire life. I grew up playing with Renee in their house throughout elementary school, along with many other neighborhood kids. She always had snacks out for us and fun things to do. I am so grateful for all of the wonderful memories. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

She was an amazing person. Her relationship with Mead was inspiring. We shall miss her.

Jan was a true example of what Motherhood means. She raised a beautiful family and always made time for her kids/grandkids. Ben was like a second son to us. I´m so sorry for your loss. May her legacy live on forever. God bless you all.

I´ll miss my long-time friend.

Peace to you my wonderful friend. So many found memories. Kids, beach, sailing, cruising, coffee, long talks, in person, phone, messenger. I will miss you.

So sad to hear of Jan´s passing. Graduated with Jan in 1959 and was at every TL Handy class reunions to see her. She was such a great lady and a proud mother to her children. May you rest in peace dear classmate
