Janet & Marcie

I met Janet through her neice Laura and for 5yrs she made me laugh all the time. She made me a blanket and a hat and scarf for Christmas and always made me smile. We go to Rita or Richards for ice cream she love her dessert. There are so many memories I have of her and I would treasure them always. She was a wonderful, beautiful person and I love her like my own grandmother and friend. I know she is happy now and she is looking down every minute on all her family and friends with a smile....

I have many fond memories of times spent as a teenager at the Halpin Homestead in Plainfield Twp. I still chuckle about Janet's "secret recipes" which she didn't want to share with anyone! And all that hard work with the PAAHS band boosters was much appreciated. Her presence will be sorely missed by those who knew and loved her. I will be away on Fri, but please know this family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

You are finally at peace.

God looked around his garden
And found an empty place,
He then looked down upon the earth
And saw your tired face.
He put his arms around you
And lifted you to rest.
God's garden must be beautiful
He always takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering
He knew you were in pain.
He knew that you would never
Get well on earth again.
He saw the road was getting rough
And the hills were hard to climb.
So he closed your weary...
