Janet Harp

Janet was a "friend forever." Our friendship began at St. Mary´s School and continued until we graduated in 1973 from Muskegon Catholic Central. Dou Ruud and I gave Janet a fond farewell and good luck when she left from the bus station in downtown Muskegon after graduation for basic training. I saw Janet occasionally after graduation. I was assigned to guard Janet when we played basketball in gym class. I'm 5' 2'' Janet was a willowy 5' 10" . Janet's art work of curve stitching decorated offices around Muskegon. Rest in peace Janet

Oh how we hated having to come up with a gymnastics routine for gym class. Later I ran into Janet at Ft. McClellan, AL. She was in the medical field while Gina Portincasa and I happened to be there to get shots while we were in basic training. We were hoping she'd be attending our 50th high school reunion last summer. Rest in eternal peace Janet.
