I knew her from NBHS and later at the
class 1953 luncheons at AnnaBelle's.

I knew Janet during my NBHS years. From the first fall after she arrived when her father became pastor at the FBC in Newbern, Janet added fun and joy to every thing she did. We are so sorry to hear of Janet's death. She was such a kind and loving person, and made us feel at home instantly when we joined First Baptist Church nearly twelve years ago. It was a joy to sing with her in the Santuary Choir and in the Adult Ensemble. She had a wonderful sense of humor, and a smile that was contagious. Her life was truly a witness of her love for Christ, the Church, and its ministry in the world. She will surely be missed by her family and friends. God bless you...
