Sending love and prayers for the family. Jan was a wonderful person.

I worked with Jan during my time at AlleghanyMemorial and worked for her in their surgical office. She was a wonderful person. Always a smile and pleasant to everyone she met. My condolences to the family.

As a young child my father had an infection after his gallbladder surgery. His wound had to be packed daily. My mother became sick looking at his wound. Janet taught me at approx 5 years old how to properly wash my hands, remove the old packing, clean the wound, and repack it. I was mesmerized. My father´s wound heeled because Janet made sure I knew how to care for it. From that moment forward I wanted to grow up to be a nurse. She inspired me to be the nurse I am today. What an amazing woman...

What a dear friend she was to us. Wonderful nurse, wife, mother, grandmother, friend. Jan gave so much kindness and thoughtfulness to others.You all are in our thoughts and prayers. Much love to Cy and family. Ronald, Chris Davis, Cheri Elliott.

Thoughts and prayers for all. Jan´s beauty was not only outwardly...her inner beauty was of love, friendship, service and deep compassion for all. She set an example by the way she lived her life. My heart hurts for all the family...she will be missed by many. Jan´s legacy will live on throughout the years to come with those she left behind

Thanks to Jan and the other ladies that were the start of Girl Scouts in Sparta, I had some really good times with some really good people. For her family, I am so sorry for your loss. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.
