We were in bible study together Jan was fun, interesting caring and we all enjoyed her. She will be missed by all the people she knew. Hugs

John - I am so sorry for your great loss. I am truly lost for words, but yet there are so many things to say about your mom! I just know that I have never met anyone like her, and I will never meet another like her as long as I live. A real classy gal with such a spirit of fire for life inside of her! A true neighbor, friend and confidant. I am thankful for the friendship your mother and mine had for so many years. She will truly be missed by my entire family.

I met Jan at an AARP driver class that she was leading several years ago.
I met her again some time later at a class at SVSU. During our breaks during that class, we got acquainted, and she unbeknownst to me took it upon herself to quite successfully help me out with some problems I and several of my neighbors were having with our landlord.
Jan was a real treasure. One of a kind. God must have needed a special angel. That she was.
