Not sure what to say?

I just learned of Janet´s passing. So very sad. A tremendous loss to all who loved her. Janet and I were roommates in the early 1970´s. We had a third roommate Ellen, a lovely young woman in advertising. Janet and I were just starting our lives in New York City and our careers at NBC. So many memories are flooding my thoughts: our fabulous vacation to Paradise Island. We had so much fun we hated to leave; the many lunches and dinners, shopping at Bloomingdales; going to the movies...

I just heard this terribly sad news. Janet was a true life force! I would see her in the lobby of the building we both lived in and we would chat endlessly about all things TV since we both worked at NBC. She was so engaging, caring and super savvy! My heart goes out to her beloved husband Bob, her dear son Andrew and her wonderful sister Judy, who were all the absolute light of her bright life.

I’ve known Janet for 10yrs but we had gotten closer since my moving to Miami. We emailed back and forth about TV/streaming shows constantly. We were on the same wavelength on so many things. After watching SNL, Bill Maher or any of “our” shows I want to email her immediately. I miss her terribly

I met Janet two years ago in a somewhat unusual setting---a chemo suite. I was a former patient/current volunteer and Janet and I first started talking when we overheard someone say they didn't know who Gilda Radner was. What??? We were off and running. It turns out both of us had worked at NBC, though not at the same time. We each had one son who went to Trinity, though not at the same time. We both had ovarian cancer, though not at the same time. But what really clicked for us was our...

I barely knew Janet and only peripherally but I was always impressed by her presence. She was adorable and lit up a room. I am so sorry for your loss but know that she had an impact on those she barely knew.
Sincerely, P. Reiss

Janet was a savvy New Yorker when I arrived from the Midwest. A single girl with style in the center of Today.
I held her baby boy five months before my twins - later Andrew’s school mates at Trinity. Bob goes back even further to Chicago days.
Judy a constant in broadcasting. Those pretty Garfield girls. Love to Bob. Andrew, Janet and everyone missing Janet. I’m so sorry. Jane Pauley
