Not sure what to say?

I miss Janet so much - such a special person and friend. She would love the fact we are having a 60th Reunion from Highland High School.

I believe Mrs Kahn was my teacher at Bandelier Elementary. If so, I have always thought of her as my favorite teacher.

We at the Albuquerque Public Schools Police Dept. were saddened to hear of the passing of Ms. Kahn. A valiant fighter of what is true and good in this World. Our condolences go out to her family and all who loved her. Sincerely,APSPD Officer/EPOA secretary

Mortar Board was proud to claim Janet as a member. On behalf of the National Council and Board of Trustees, I offer deep sympathy and the most sincere regard for the way that she lived Mortar Board's Ideals of scholarship, leadership and service.

Dear Charlie and family,
I am so very sad to learn of Janet's passing. I have the deepest respect for her and for her immeasurable contributions to education and the arts in our community. I was privileged to work with her in my capacity of Director of Arts, Culture and Education at the JCC and hers as Director of Fine Arts at APS. Janet was always accessible, helpful, concerned, respectful and she operated with complete transparency and integrity. As the years went on and I got to know...

I worked with Janet in APS. She was so kind to me and just a wonderful person. I am so happy the lord put her in my life to know.
God Bless.

Such a loss to our community! Beautiful Janet added greatly to the educational and arts aspects of Albuquerque.

Janet was a dear friend from 6th grade until the very end of Janet's life. A true friend who was warm, thoughtful, clever, creative and loyal. Our friendship has continued throughout our lives- such a comfort to have a special friend like Janet. So many memories- camp, school, our youth group, families and grandchildren. My heart goes out to her dear family. Bobbi Gardenswartz Siegel
