Janet Levy

Oh no! Hugh and Sarah and Olivia: I am so sorry. And I am so sad! I did not see this sad news until just now so I missed the Celebration of Janet´s life yesterday. She was such an amazing woman and I always loved working with her, laughing with her, politicking with her, just being with her. I´m shocked and sad that I wasn´t around to know we were going to lose this remarkable woman!! Best thoughts to you and the grandkids (who kept her motivated and happy and challenged!)

Many memories of Janet around her time with the Concord YMCA where she served as Clerk of the Works on the 1980's expansion. Her volunteer efforts helped save the project. There were also her time playing rugby and joining the running groups. She was an example for the women associated with the YMCA and collaborative member of the Board with me. Admirable person.

We owned the knitting shop in Concord and became friends with Janet over the years. She became a great friend and we will always remember her. Condolences to her friends and family. She was a wonderful lady.
