Everyday remember something different that you did together...it helps the time pass in those quiet moments; every year now when the oak leaves fall softly to the ground. Sorry for your loss.

Janet and I have followed similar career paths at HUD, from single family training in 1988 in Evanston, IL to the multifamily area. Through the years I have valued her friendship, intelligence, willingness to help with work issues and marvelous sense of humor. I cannot express how much I will miss her.

My heartfelt condolesence to the Matthew Family and her work colleagues. I was stunned at the news of Janet's passing. Although, from a distance I was always a fan of Janet's enthusiasm, knowledge and energy to fight the good fight. Janet was a credit to the HUD family and in particular to the Appraisal profession. She will be missed.

I am so sadden of our loss of Ms. Janet Matthews. She was a super nice lady who was always willing to help me. She gave me great guidance throughout my career at HUD. She was warm, friendly, and extremely intelligent. When she and I talked, she alway spoke of her son Marc whom she expressed loving very much. I will truly miss her as a very good friend and as a very competent coworker.

I am devastated over the loss of Janet. It was a pleasure to work with her! She was a great person and friend. I will miss her!
