Not sure what to say?

Don, I was so saddened by the news that Janet is no longer with you. I have many happy memories of you and Janet at Calvary Church. She was a splendid sister in Christ who spread joy wherever she went. She radiated the love of Jesus. For those of us left behind, it is so sad. But to be face to face with her Jesus is far better for her! Debbie Soper Kernan

Don:

Jim and I were saddened to hear about Janet. We knew she was ill but didn't know details. We both have fond memories of our young couples Bible study back in the 1970s with you guys, the Herrins, Outens, Thorntons, Moores and Morses. Was that really almost 40 years ago? Where did the time go? Come back to Calvary. We miss you.

Remembering the blessing of knowing your family years ago at Calvary Church. Gospel Presentations with the choir were blessed and improved because of her involvement. During this week of Valentine's Day you will certainly reflect upon 41 years of marriage and the joy that brought into your life. May God gently guide you as you progress through the 7-steps of grief. The Obituary is beautifully written. Praying for His blessings and comfort to you during the coming days.

Don,

We are deeply saddened over your loss. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

I remember being at Ruth Cochran's birthday party when I was 11 we had glamour shots and Mrs. McSween did our make up for our photos. I always remember thinking she is the nicest sweetest lady. I went to elementary school with Brian my prayers and thoughts go out to him and his family at this time.

I went to school with Janet and I am so very sorry to learn of her passing. God's gentle and loving blessings to each of you. She was a lovely lady.

For any years I substituted for Janet at South Charlotte and Robinson Middle Schools. She was devoted to her students and so conscientious about their learning science in a creative and interesting way. She was a fine woman with a generous heart towards teenagers. I enjoyed her friendship.

I taught with Janet at South Charlotte and remember her dedication to kids and teaching. So sorry for your loss.
