Not sure what to say?

My daughter ask me today who my first date was with. I remember taking Janet to a Cal Poly volleyball game my Junior year at SLO Sr. High. I remember experiencing those awkward moments when you didn't know what to say or do. I was shocked when I saw the news of her passing. I will always remember Janet as that sweet young girl sitting next to me.

Janet, I am sorry that I am just learning of your passing. My heart hurts for your struggles and the fact that I didn't reach out more. You were one of a kind and will be missed. A friend reminded me that we once took a beautiful train ride to celebrate your birthday and I will choose to remember that day in your honor. Praying God has his arms wrapped tight around you now. Thank you to the Neumanns for this guest book.

Sweet Janet,

It's been more than a month since we lost you. We miss you every single day--your beautiful smile, your kind voice, your gentle spirit. We know you are with our Lord now and are finally at peace. One day will be ours again, our neighbor, our friend, our Janet. Until then, there is an empty place in our hearts where you belong. We hope you know how much we loved you.

I remember Janet as a kind happy young woman in high school. I am truly saddened to hear of her struggles and hope she is resting in peace.

Dear Janet, your spirit was so gentle, sweet, caring, and in the best way, naive. In short, you where and will always be, beautiful. I will not remember how you passed, instead I will remember you as the brightest kinda of light that can grace this world. Thank you for sharing yourself with us. Until we meet again...

I didn't spend a lot of time with Janet, but I knew her from high school. She was always such a very nice girl at a time in life when a lot of girls weren't. When I saw this it made me very sad. Rest in Peace, Janet.

Ms. Janet,

Although you were friends with my younger sister.

I have thought of you many times. When Annie told me I was stunned!

You rock Janet, you have been in my thoughts lately . And now I see you in the stars.

I hope you find peace.

Thanks for putting up with my terrible dancing.

Feel free to visit me anytime Janet.

I would consider it an honor to see you in the stars of Kauai!

Loving and missing Janet today for all the kindness she poured into my life. Her death is heartbreaking to all, and it makes us all realize how deep her heartbreak was. Blessings on her memory.
