Many thanks and gratitude to everyone for your thoughts, prayers and generosity.

My mother graduated in 1969 from East Jackson High School. This was the same high school that later graduated three of her children, myself Andy (1990), my brother Kevin (1992) and my sister Katie (1996), and delivered life to my youngest sister Chelsie in 1989. At that time she was accepted to Juilliard School for music, dance and drama, but opted instead to show off her creativity as a wife and a mother.

Never got to meet Janet but judging by her wonderful son Andy, she was certainly a joy to many. Our deepest sympathies to all of her friends and family.

Jan fought a battle for many years; a battle some of us could not face. Jan felt the pain that she encountered her threw her battle. Then Jan finally answered the lord and gave up the battle. Jan will suffer no more; for where she is there is no pain. Jan will be missed by many; her soft voice and her dedication to her family and are just a few things we will miss about her.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the kids and grandkids. All of you will miss her but she is in a better...

I will miss you very much. I am sorry I couldn't be there. You were a great role model and inspiration for me as I was growing up. Thanks for all of the great summers and advice you gave me.
