I am a Dr Srivastava nephew I can't belive it.... my Aunt was informed today, she's out of the country and will be returning soon. I've known Jan for a long time as well as my family RIP Jan, I'm so sorry she's gone...love Sam ....

I worked with Jan at North Richmond for several years in the 70's and early 80's. We lost touch and I am sorry to hear she's gone. She was a good soul.

My heartfelt condolences to all of Janet's family.
Janet and I were friends throughout the decades. We met at our first job in Manhattan at a magazine, Architectural Forum, where we discovered that we both came from Ohio. We lived in the same apartment building in the Village, and shared a love of Indian food and music. And the men in our lives were musicians. We both moved to Staten Island where we each bought our first house and began pursuing our individual career paths. Jan and I...

Our sincerest condolences to all Janet's family. We were her neighbors on Staten Island and have fond memories of Janet, particularly with our mutual interest in pets.
She will always be remembered.
