My condolences to Janet's family & loved ones. Janet was a strong person who cared. She could often be seen on NL Parade Plaza and other locations fighting for a cause. She was a kind & generous person. Her Christmas tradition was to drop off a plate of home-made cookies for my children among her other many acts of kindness in her community - she made a difference. God Bless Janet.

It was a joy to work with Janet in Preston. My two favorite memories of her occurred in NYC. The first was an opera weekend which happened to be Easter weekend. In addition to three wonderful operas at the Met, we went to the Easter morning service at Saint John the Divine Cathedral with more beautiful music in an inspiring setting.
