Words cannot express the sadness I feel about your Mom's passing. We were friends since childhood on Neva Ave. in Chicago. I am so happy that all the Neva Ave. friends were able to get together with her two years ago and have such fond memories of that visit. She will be deeply missed.

I took care of Jan at the infusion clinic at St. Mary's Lacks Center. She became my friend over the years of giving her weekly infusion. I am saddened at the news of her passing. She always lifted my spirits with her stories and encouragement. She was a blessing to care for. My sympathy to her family.
