Joe, Patch and Trudy - the service yesterday was lovely. Seeing the pictures of Jan brought back so many memories of my days at RCP. She was one of my favorite teachers and had a profound impact on me as I grew into adulthood. She was patient, kind, loving and a wonderful mentor. Growing up across the street from Jan she was like a second mother to me. Then we became lifelong friends. I credit A LOT of my creativity to her. Her imagination was wonderful. She was resourceful, funny and smart. I will miss her.
