Sending love and sympathy to the Phippard kids : Jim, Kathy, Edwin, and Melanie. Your mom was one of the great Arlington, Virginia moms of the 1960's and 1970's! We kids were welcomed with snacks (so important), friendship (Mrs. Phippard really seemed interested in our lives), and a general sense of welcomeness that made the Phippard home a positive destination! Such wonderful memories of a wonderful time and a wonderful woman. God bless.
