I first met Janet when she came to work on the preschool bus I drove. It didn't take long to reaLize we would be good friends and so we have been for the past 17 years. She was a great listener and so wonderful with all of the little ones on the bus. We shared so many laughs and tears, solved the world's problems and told each other our secrets. I always told her she was as close as a sister to me.

It breaks my heart to learn of the passing of beautiful Janet. I worked with her at SUU food services. What a delightful lady. So bubbly and full of smiles and fun. Pure joy to be around. I was so sad to hear this news of Janet's passing. I worked with her when she was a bus aide. What a neat lady she was.
I hadn't seen her in a while and ran into her at Pizza Factory a few months ago and had a chance to catch up a bit, it was so nice to see her. I'm sure there was a happy reunion when she arrived on the other side. She will be missed.

About 10 years ago Janet was a bus aid on the Iron County Preschool bus that my 4 year old son Landon rode on. I remember being a nervous mother and very apprehensive about letting my very young son go on a bus all by himself. God must have known my worries because he sent two earthy angels to care and protect my son each day. Janet and Phyliss, the bus driver, always greeted Landon with a big smile. I used to tease Janet about knowing everyone in Cedar. No matter where we went she knew someone, or met a relative of someone she knew. People just liked her and it was obvious from the smiles and hugs she got.

Janet was also one of the most humble people I've ever met. She was always worried that she wasn't doing enough, or wasn't doing things good enough. If I grow up to be half the person she was I won't ever worry about going to heaven!!

I was so surprised to get a knock at my door one day to find Janet and Phyliss there with a gift for my new baby. I have thought of their acts of kindness many times since then.
