We, the Nickelsville HS Class of '49, were so sorry to hear of the death of our good friend, your mother, Janet. She will certainly be missed by all of us who loved her. The two of them are now together again. What a celebration that must have been. Our Prayers and condolences are with you.

Janet was a gracious person who offered her welcoming hospitality to new artists that she met during the artist workshops at the Virginia Highlands Festivals. I met her several years ago and she offered her friendship, encouragement and enthusiasm for art to everyone. She will be greatly missed in this world of fast paced people who take little time to stop and smell the flowers or look at the paintings. God has gained an angel in His presence.
