Janet A. Redden, age 78, of Lynn, passed away Sunday November 23, 2014. She was the wife of the late Robert B. Redden Sr. A lifelong resident of Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Helen McAskill Sampson Berry. She was a member of the Washington Street Baptist Church in Lynn, and belonged to the Beulah McCoy Circle. Janet loved going to BINGO and mostly enjoyed her family trips, camping, holidays and spending time with them. She is survived by her children, Sharon Redden Watson of Lagrande, OR, Robert B. Redden Jr. and his wife Karen of Lynn, Armand G. Redden and his wife Jeannine Valley-Redden of Bradford, Donna L. Redden Pleasant and her husband Ernest of Lynn, Dianne M. Redden Richard and her wife Maryann Davey of Lynn, Tammy L. Redden of Amesbury and Arthur S. Redden II and his partner Marissa Douglas of Amesbury, her brother Richard Sampson and his wife Rhonda of Australia, her sister in law Ruth Sampson of Salem, and she was the sister of the late Robert Sampson. She also leaves twenty grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and one aunt.
A funeral service will be held in the Goodrich Funeral Home, 128 Washington St., Lynn, on Wednesday, 7:30 p.m. Visitation is also Wednesday, 5-8 p.m. Memorials, if desired, may be made to the Washington Street Baptist Church, 256 Washington St., Lynn 01902
