ROBINSON, Ms. Janet - age 61, of Flint, passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at Hurley Medical Center. A memorial service will be held 11:00 am Thursday, July 27, 2017 at Triumph Church-Flint Campus, 1657 Broadway Blvd., Flint, MI 48506. Rev. Lawrence G. Vaughn officiating.
Ms. Janet Elizabeth Robinson was born July 17, 1956 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of James and Ethel Robinson.
Janet was a bartender at several local establishments. She was an excellent cook. Janet loved taking care of people especially her grandchildren.
Ms. Janet Robinson leaves to cherish her memory: daughter, Janelle Monique Robinson; grandchildren, Myka Robinson, Larry, Miguel and Michael McLean, Jamari and Janiyah Glover; brother, James Robinson; 3 sisters, Margaret (Jack) Pleasant of Flint, MI, Juanita (Lionel) Moltimore of GA, and Kathy Robinson of Flint, MI; 7 nephews; 5 nieces; 6 cousins; a host of other relatives and friends including dear friend, Laverne Cook and her pet, Lalia.
Ms. Janet Robinson was preceded in death by: parents, James and Ethel Robinson; brother, Donald Robinson.
The family would like to express special thanks to Jamelle Glover, Hurley Medical Center ICU and Triumph Church.

Janelle, I am so sorry for the loss of your mother. Today I just learned of her passig Diane was on her way here to Flint for the service and called me. So sorry, if I had know I would have been there, my love and prayers go out to you and the family.
