I'm one of Janet's many grandchildren - Melanie, or Miss Melanie if you asked her. There are not many people who reach their 30s and are blessed enough to have a close relationship with their grandmother like I had and my siblings and cousins had. Mom - I'm so sad and sorry you had to leave us. You had some hard times in your life but you were always strong and overcame alot. At least you are finally at peace. I'm really going to miss you being in my life. We had a lot of fun too, leaving great memories behind, and for that I am grateful. Love you.

I remember my Aunt Janet gave me my first ride in a VW Bug ! I probably was about 7 years old. As I recall the car was jammed packed with my siblings and cousins-lol. I don´t remember where we were headed. Foggy memory, but; we may have been pulled over by the police on our way to our destination. Full circle: Of course in 2016 when I purchased the new VW Beetle I had to pick up Janet at her work place so she could go for a test drive !
