Not sure what to say?

It is a good feeling to be reminded of Janet. A wonderful woman, who I was lucky to get to know at the mental health clinic where we worked. Warm, caring, sweet, compassionate, kind, and loving- she had a heart of gold and was always so committed to her family and the world!

I am adding to last year’s statement. I was amazed by her commitment to taking Ellen to dance. She was so happy to bring her into Manhattan for her lessons. She was kind and compassionate to all the people she met at our clinic. Thinking of her now brings a smile to my face.

Mrs. Rubich left a wonderful legacy carried out by her daughter. This is a beautiful tribute to a woman who made a difference. Her love will carry on with the artistic expression of the ballet. Now this angel has found her wings. Amen.

I worked with Janet in the Port Richmond Community Mental Health Center. She was a very lovely, kind, and caring person. When I had my first child (1984), she threw a lovely baby shower for me at her home. She was so sweet. Her love for her wonderful husband, George, and her daughter, Ellen, were an inspiration. What a beautiful person. I will always carry her memory in my heart, Maureen Curran

A beautiful soul who lived a beautiful life. Long before the dance group, Mrs. Rubich was another mother to me and other friends of Ellen. Sleepovers, playing in the yard, and my Sweet 16 party where the only record we had was Hey Jude are all memories of good times at the Rubich home. Thank you for the good times, the love, and all the support you gave to all of us. Your light will shine brightly in all the lives you touched. Thinking of you. Ellen.
