Janet Scarrow

My condolences. Almost like losing another mom.

I worked with Janet for ten years at WMU. I wanted to be her. She embodied many things, intelligence, grace, sense of humor (not often and normally, not a at work) and a critical eye for proper English and grammar! Her edits were legendary and her masterful management of Dick Burke was known far and wide. Respected, sometimes feared and someone you could not forget. Condolences to the family, she was a gem.

Dear Sweet Janet loved the nature world so much. She chaired First Presbyterian Church´s Green Ps committee and we were the most active during her tenure from 150 people viewing our large recycling fair to Earth Day booth right outside at Bronson Park to making sure that our Church was as compliant as possible with energy efficiency and getting an "Earth Care Congregation."
