Janet Latta Schalm

Dear Walt, Nancy, Linda, Chuck, and all your families,
My heart goes out to all of you as you face these days without Janet. I have so many fond memories of her and all the activities we did together. I think the best memory, however, was her goal of white water rafting without getting wet. She was such an elegant lady and so much fun to be around. My thoughts are with you as you honor her life with the service this week and remember her forever.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I think of Janet when I think of high school days with Nancy: swim meets, sleepovers, rafting trips, in which she cheered us on, gave us ideas for fun activities and was always supportive. My thoughts are with you, especially through these first few days when it seems impossible that the sun can rise and the world continue spinning when such a wonderful person has left us.
