Not sure what to say?

To the family, you will not know me, however I knew your wife/mother. I was sitting at my scrapbooking weekend today and reminiscing on how I got into this in 1997. About 3 months after my son was born. So many of the Emergency Department staff would bring their albums in and show their creative memory pages off...I was intrigued as a NON-artistic person. I say this all to let you know how your wife/mom touched me to begin this journey, now 27 years later. I hope you have peace in these days...

I first met Steve at Six Flags in 1977. I was a caricature artist and worked with John Lee, Dan Martin, Jeff Struckman. Steve was 16 and I was 20 and he joined our car pool. In 1978 Steve and I went out to six flags, but they wanted Steve to shave his red beard. Steve said, "Let's do our own shows and Fairs this year, Bob." Thus began our age of "Free Lance". Strausenfest, St. Genevieve, etc. I met Janet Scherrer when we drawing at VP Fair in 1982. Thus became the couple, Steve and Janet. We...

Amy, we are so, so sorry for your devastating losses. Please contact us at Bluestem Missouri Crafts, [email protected]. Very sincerely, Ruth Walker for Bluestem Missouri Crafts

we are deeply saddened by the loss of your dear mother, Janet, and brother Eric. Our families have enjoyed a special friendship, finding joy in our passion for creating art, our love of nature, fine meals and a good trivia game. Janet had a sweet and loving nature that welcomed us as friends.
we send our love to be with you, Amy, and with your family in this difficult time.

It is hard and painful to imagine life with out the soft spoken and lovely Janet. Her love for nature and her family stand above all. We are so saddened by the loss of both Janet and Eric. Our heart and love are with Amy

From our family to yours we are all deeply saddened by this awful time for you, Amy. Your mother and father were always a joy to be around. So kind and into nature. And the talent you all shared is amazing. Our prayers are for all three of them to be at peace together. Please know our hearts and home are always open to you, Amy!

My heart goes out to the family and friends of Janet and Eric. I met Janet through my sister Lisa, and remember her being such a talented artist and kind person. Eric and Amy went to school with my nephews so no doubt this saddens all their friends as well. May Janet and Eric rest in peace. May God be with Amy and all others touched by this tragedy during this difficult time.

With deepest sympathy,
Robin Messerla

May God's Light and Love guide the family and lift each of you through difficult times. You are surrounded in love and prayers.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow
