Not sure what to say?

I love my friend Jan and enjoyed living our lives together for so many decades

I met Jan & Otto Skopil 27 years ago when I was the Director of Marketing for Mary's Woods. They were a delightful couple . I appreciated their kindness and generosity to me; letting use their Neskowin beach house for a week of retreat. Every year Jan would send me one of her hand crafted cards.. of gratitude at Thanksgiving time. I still have them. One illustrated not only Jan's artistic talent but also her sense of humor: "If you see a fork in the road; take it!" Her life was a blessing....

Jan and Otto were wonderful people that I met 26 years ago whe I was the Director of Marketing at Mary's Woods They graciously let me retreat for a week at their beach home in Neskowin. Each Thanksgiving I looked forward to a holiday card from Jan with her clever wit and artistic ability.

Janet was my friend and honorary sister to whom I could go for advice and support. I will miss her and her joy and optimism. Gratitude was her gift to the world. Rest in peace.

I am saddened to hear of the loss of Jan who was my dear friend ever since meeting her in my calligraphy classes at Oregon School of Art & Craft. I remember her sweet, generous nature and her great love of her family-Otto, her children and grandchildren. Rest In Peace and rise in glory

Over the years I have had the pleasure of receiving many of the greeting cards Jan made and sent at times other than during the Christmas season. It was always such a pleasure to be surprised by one of her new creations. Plus, she had been married to one of my favorite people! Always showing good judgment, a strong personality and delightful sense of humor. She is a role model for a life well lived.

Mollie, So sorry for your loss. Much love.

I love you Aunt Jan. Ever since I was a little girl I recognized your intelligence, your attention to detail, and your wonderful cooking! Everything in your home was beautiful and my sister and I always had a blast playing with the cousins in your house. We always felt welcome. Later as I grew up I witnessed your art. Incredible! You´ve made a mark in the world and will be missed. Love to Mollie and Shannon and your families.
