Dear family Stern, First my sincere condolances with you mother's passing away. Probably you don't know who I am so let me first introduce myself. Janets' husband Charles and my husband were law partners at Holleb &Koff law firm. The mutual respect they had for each other was clear to all. In addition Janet was the leader for my book club. She was the best! and no one ever was able to surpass her ability to teach and inspire us!

Janet touched so many lives and enriched the people who studied with her. Her life was a blessing and I was privileged to be her friend.
