Janet Taylor

I am resident of Messiah Village in Mechanicsburg,PA and knew Janet there. We played bridge together in several groups. Mostly though we talked about Perry County and she gave me copies of the books she had written. We also took several rides there, sometimes with other friends. Janet was a wonderful guide, pointing out the locations of Indian trails, cemeteries, churches, and other historical spots. Janet had a great sense of humor and enthusiasm for life.... I could not attend her service...

Janet was a lovely lady with a beautiful smile. We attended the Protestant Women of the Chapel at Carlisle Barracks together. Later, we enjoyed a visit to a book club I attend where she reviewed a book she'd written. What a gifted lady who shared with so many. I pray that her family will feel God's peace and comfort as they remember the good times.

Dear Janet, thank you so much for sharing your life with me and the historic Midland Cemetery. You always gave me encouragement, love, hugs and lots of wonderful mental treasures to share with the world. I enjoyed your visits with me and at Midland. You shared your books and endless ideas on research. What a blessing to have had a moment with you. I started thinking of the last time we hugged after covid. I was so happy to see you when your daughter brought you to our annual memorial...
