Not sure what to say?

Ken, Joel, Derek, Carrie and families,

Aunt Janet was one of those special people in my life as I'm sure she was to everyone else she met. Her sudden death will undoubtedly leave a huge void in all your lives as well as ours. She was a wonderful, faith-filled person who is surely having the time of her life now in Heaven.

Please know that our thoughts and prayers are truly with all of you. I wish we could've been in Indiana with you this weekend but we were in San Diego at...

Dear Ken, Joel and Family, Derek and Family:
We were shocked and saddened to learn of Janet's sudden death. Her dedication to her family, her church and her community is a tribute to her life.

As a child I always looked forward to the summer visits from the Indiana Doehrmanns. When they traveled to interesting places, they always brought us little momentos and we loved seeing the photographs and slides they shared. Janet honored us by being the organist at our wedding. ...

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

I'm very sorry to hear about your loss. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Ken, Joel, Derek and families,
It is with great sadness that I write this note. Please accept my sincere sympathy. I knew and loved Aunt Janet for all the good things she brought to our Doehrmann Family and also for her caring, sincere devotion to her own family as well as her devotion to her church. We will all miss her. I will not be able to travel to Indiana, however, you will all be in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless.

Janet touched my life with her kindness and dignity; I feel blessed to have become acquainted with her.
