Not sure what to say?

Jan, you are missed tremendously. I will always remember the laughter we shared. Our outings with coworker. But most importantly, your loving kindness. You have touched the lives of many. RIP my friend

I'm happy to say that I got to celebrate a lot of birthdays and holidays with Jan over the years, and I got to meet pretty much all her dogs. That last surviving dog (she'll be 13 in December) is here with me right now, snoring softly. We're a couple of old ladies who lost a friend -- I'm very clear she lost more than I did -- but we have each other for comfort, and she knows she is loved. I hope Jan knew the same.

Jan and I worked together at NSH for several years. She was always kind, positive and hard working. I´m so sorry she passed before I was aware she was ill. I hope her paw babies went to a good home. Fly high my friend.

Jan and I met while we were both in the U.S. Navy stationed at Norfolk, VA. We became great friends. After I left Norfolk for San Diego we lost touch. She found me in the mid 2000's. Since then we've talked about once a year. But those phone calls lasted 3-4 hours. We'd get all caught up on each others lives. She was so funny and made me laugh. We'd always talk about our rescue dogs. How much we loved them and how they made us laugh each day. Jan, I will miss you and our long phone calls....

Sad to hear of Jan´s passing. What an amazing nurse and mentor! Loved working with her in the ICU at Northside. Great attitude and amazing skills always!

We are so sorry to hear about Jan. We pray for God´s peace and comfort for all of you. Jay & Lynn (Tipton) Clampitt

I met Jan back in 1985 at the Superbowl game between the Chicago Bears and New England Patriots. A mutual friend brought her to the game at my apartment and we became great friends. Jan was someone you could call day or night and she´d be there. And being a caregiver was just in her DNA. I wish we could have spent more time together in recent years; I will miss her greatly.

Jan and I worked together in ICU at NSH.. She was a great nurse and a kind and funny friend
