December 7, 1931 - April 16, 2017 Dear Janet, I know you're feeling bad because you can't remember things. Nothing quite connects together anymore, and you can tell that something just isn't right. Every morning you wake up away from home, but you don't remember having travelled anywhere. Your...

Not sure what to say?

Hello, I am hoping to get into contact with the family of Janet. After Hurricane Helene, a rock washed up on our property in Bat Cave NC that has a memorial plaque on it. 828-707-7798

Dear Ann,

The words you wrote about your mother brought tears to my eyes. You must have given her much joy. Her talents flow through you as you share them with your friends and family here in Ghana. I loved how you creatively wrote about your mother's future. It was so touching.

Thank you for sharing this afternoon with me and bringing your artistic talents to our color selections. So I thank your mother for sending you to me and your adding fun, happiness, and...

Thanks to Ann and Jean for their tributes to their parents -- after Ed's passing on June 26.
Acquainted with them in their Bellevue days, and long out of communication ---
your obituary gives all of us who have lost dear people to this dreadful happening -- gives us
a way to think about them that would not have occurred without Ann's writing.
Both of them gave the world their love and talents. Mary Robson, Port Townsend, Washington

I didn't know Janet, but I wish that I did. This was the most beautiful and heartwarming obituary that I've ever read.

To Ed, Jean and Ann and families: Janet was one of my best friends in high school and she was a bridesmaid in my wedding 60 years ago. We had lost touch in the last few years. It was a great shock to read that she had passed.
I never know the right thing to say in times like this except to say that I am sorry.
The obituary is very beautiful. It demonstrates how much she was loved by all who knew her.
Sincerely,
Teresa Kelly

This was beautiful. May she Rest In Peace

To Ed, Jean and Ann and families,
This is an amazing tribute to an amazing woman. I was lucky enough to be at your West Covina home and meet Mrs. Tuck in the early 1980s. I remember art on the walls of your home and being completely in awe. I'm so touched by this story and how well you care for your wife and mother in her senior years. You are all an inspiration to others. Thank you for sharing this wonderful story.
I'm so sorry for your loss,
Margaret Muller

So touching to hear how you all have connected with my mother's life. Thank you so much for taking the time to write your thoughts here. We'll cherish them forever.

Ann Tuck (Author of the obituary)

My condolences to your family. I do not know your family, but I just wanted to let you know this was the most beautifully written obituary I have ever read. I have been a funeral director for 20 years, so I have read a lot. The story is beautiful, the way it was crafted was beautiful and so is the love you had for your mother. May time heal your heart and you only know happiness.
