Dr. Janet Clark Tucker, Ph.D.

I was a patient of Jan since I was 17. I have not seen her since she moved to TN. Her voice and smile replay often in my head. She made a huge impact on my life and saved me during my hardest years. Now 41 years old I know she would look at my life and be proud of where I am today thanks to her guidance and love during my youth. I love Jan and I often think of her which lead me to this obituary. I was a patient of Jan's for 25 years. To say that I am devastated after learning this news is an understatement. Yes, it was a doctor-patient relationship, but it was so much more. After she and Gary moved to Tennessee to start the next chapter of their lives, I would often think, in a moment of uncertainty, "What would Jan say?" Her imprint on my life is indelible. I am sorry that she left us so early and I'm sorry she did not have more time to enjoy her retirement and her new home. But...

Jan was a member of my community that I have not met. I'm sorry that I missed getting to know her.

I am so very sorry to learn of Jan´s death. We were classmates at Claremont High School and reconnected at our CHS Class of 1958 reunions over the years. Jan was a gifted woman and friend.
